Who is one Direction?





 

Who is One Direction first of all? One Direction is a pop British boy band that has just recently been becoming popular here in the U.S. The band consists of Zayn Malik (far left), Niall Horan, Liam Payne (middle), Louis Tomlinson, and Harry Styles (far right). They all originally auditioned separately on the popular TV show The X Factor in 2010. Although the judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, and Cheryl Cole didn't think they were good enough on their own, they knew they were too good to be thrown out. So Simon Cowell decided to put all 5 boys into a group in which Harry Styles decided to name One Direction. While on The X Factor, One Direction made it to the final three and were voted off. Even though they didn't win, they have become very popular with girls in the age groups between 12 and 18. More recently now they have been on tour in the U.K and have been signed to go on tour here in the U.S with popular boy band Big Time Rush in February of 2012 One Direction will be releasing there new album " Up All Night" on March 13th,2012 here in the U.S. These boys have certainly got a bright future ahead of them..
