One Direction is back in the UK!

           

February 3rd- February 10th

This past week One Direction has touched down and is back home in the UK after filming a new iCarly episode in America last week. I bet fans are happy they are back! But they will be leaving soon to come back to America by February 24th for their first concert in Chicago, while touring with Big Time Rush. I'll be happy to here from them when the get back to America!


 Dancing on Ice?

One direction was invited to perform on the popular TV show Dancing on Ice. For those of you who are not familiar with this show it is more like dancing with the stars only its a show more popular in the UK and is... on ice. One Direction performed their two most popular songs What makes you beautiful and their newest single One Thing. They certainly had a great performance! Check out the video!

Rays of Sunshine

One direction recently have become the Ambassadors for the Charity group Rays of Sunshine this past December. They are a foundation much like, Make a Wish that has celebrities visit sick children, normally ages 3-18. Ellie Thompson, 9, has leukemia; Rebbecca Commander, 15, has cystic fibrosis; Tilly, 11, has spinal muscular atrophy; and Gina,16, has Hodgkin’s lymphoma. These kids can't do what "normal " kids can do and One direction wants to put a smile on their faces.

“We go out and meet kids in different neighbourhoods and they come to our concerts sometimes and we meet them,” Payne told samaritanmag.com. “We’re in an incredible position where we can make even people with the most frowns smile. I think that’s really important that we use that to our advantage and not just let it fall by the wayside.”

I think this is a great thing they are doing for those kids who are so less fortunate! Way to go guys!

Harry likes older women??

This past week Harry Styles, 18 admitted he likes older women. Since his break up with X Factor's host, Caroline Flack in late October, he has found himself to be attracted to older women, considering that Flack was 31 years old.

“No older than my mum and she’s 43,” he says. “I love cougars though. Age is nothing but a number.”

This is a big let down for his teenage fans. What do you think? Do you think this will effect One Direction's image?
