Up All Night Album Release

"Up All Night," One Direction's first album came available everywhere on this past Tuesday, March 13th. Their 1st single What Makes You Beautiful made it to iTunes Top Ten songs and their album was #1 and #2 on the Top selling album chart. What Makes You Beautiful even made it to the radio. I was so exited when I herd the song. I even went out to the store and bought myself the Yearbook edition album so that I can now jam out to One Direction in my car. I had so much fun listening to it! It's a great album and I encourage anyone who doesn't already have it to go out to your local store and buy it or download it on iTunes. It's worth every penny!

First iCarly now their own TV Show?

Rumors have been going around that One Direction is getting their own TV show on Nickelodeon. The rumors are true! The official Nick twitter account said, “The rumours are true, our live-action slate does include a development project for @onedirection. Welcome to the family!” I was very surprised when I first found out about this. Can't wait to watch it. A lot of people are thinking that it will be similar to the his Nickelodeon show Big Time Rush but writers are still in the making. Before they make their show they must get known to the Nickelodeon viewers. They will be appearing on a episode of iCarly and they will be performing live at the 2012 Kids Choice Awards on March 31st! Just another way to spread the infection! Go get 'em boys!

1D is set to make history

One direction has surely taken over the U.S as well as most of Europe. The official music industry, Billboard, ( who lists the U.S hot 100 and 200 album charts) are saying that One directions album debut could overpass The Beatles! Their album was so successful that it had reached number one on iTunes in  a little less then a half hour. According to Billboard it's likely to get on the official album chart by March 21st.

The album is set to sell between 160,000 to 180,000 copies which is apparently enough to get them to number one. If they do make it to number one the will be the first UK group in chart history to make it to number one in the first week of release!
