One Direction Coming to the U.S

      One Direction on iCarly

One Direction in L.A? Recently One Direction have been in LA to be part of a episode on the popular Nickelodeon TV show, iCarly. These 5 boys are in the process of filming and are getting ready to make their first debut in America! The  iCarly episode will  certainly be a great way to show themselves off.. They will all be playing themselves and singing their most popular single "What Makes You Beautiful." This will sure help spread the infection all over America so be sure to check out the episode when it airs! iCarly was one of my favorite TV shows when i was younger and I can't wait to see my favorite band on my favorite TV show. Some people on the other hand aren't too happy about them appearing on iCarly. One Direction and iCarly couldn't be more different.iCarly is a show meant for younger viewers and One Direction is an older boy band who swares and do "boy things." Some people may argue that performing for younger viewers will take away what makes One Direction themselves. They won't be able to act the same. Do you think this is a good idea?

         Vote one direction for Brit Awards!

      One Direction has been nominated for the best single  "What Makes You Beautiful" in this years 2012 Brit Awards! They are training hard and hope that their fans will help them out by voting so they can win their first ever Brit Award! Check out the Video.


         Harry Styles Turns 18!

As a lot of people know Harry's Birthday is February first! He will be turning 18 year old. Hopefully he had a good birthday. Harry says that he was thrown a birthday party on his flight back to the U.K after they had finished filming iCarly. He had a great time. On Twitter he commented that for some reason he woke up and his voice seems deeper. This made me have a laugh. He is now officially an adult! Happy Birthday!

Album Relase pushed forward!

Orginally One Direction's album was going to be released on March 20th,2012 but since One Direction came to America they have seen the love and support us Americans have for them. So they decided to push the release date up a week to March 13th. :D

Who is one Direction?





 

Who is One Direction first of all? One Direction is a pop British boy band that has just recently been becoming popular here in the U.S. The band consists of Zayn Malik (far left), Niall Horan, Liam Payne (middle), Louis Tomlinson, and Harry Styles (far right). They all originally auditioned separately on the popular TV show The X Factor in 2010. Although the judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, and Cheryl Cole didn't think they were good enough on their own, they knew they were too good to be thrown out. So Simon Cowell decided to put all 5 boys into a group in which Harry Styles decided to name One Direction. While on The X Factor, One Direction made it to the final three and were voted off. Even though they didn't win, they have become very popular with girls in the age groups between 12 and 18. More recently now they have been on tour in the U.K and have been signed to go on tour here in the U.S with popular boy band Big Time Rush in February of 2012 One Direction will be releasing there new album " Up All Night" on March 13th,2012 here in the U.S. These boys have certainly got a bright future ahead of them..
